Our schools can’t do it alone.
Nine out of 10 Oklahoma City Public Schools students live in poverty, and nearly 1,900 of our students are considered homeless. Over 13,000 students speak English as a second language, and more than 40 different languages are spoken across the district.
There are many challenges that face OKCPS, and the Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools is committed to providing hope and opportunity for every single child. With your support, The Foundation is able focus strategically in numerous ways. We help diverse paraprofessionals receive their teaching degree, kickstart teachers’ DonorsChoose projects, connect community partners with local schools and drive a host of other efforts to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Evan small donations make a big impact for our students, faculty and community. Together, we can create lasting change in OKCPS!
To create lasting change in OKCPS, it takes all of us. Friends of the Foundation provides hope and opportunity for every child in our district for as little as $10 a month.
Your monthly contribution offers reliable revenue so we can plan for the future and keep our programs operating consistently and predictably. Through generous donor support, Friends of the Foundation sets Oklahoma City public school students and teachers up for success.
