All Hands Raised: Virtual

March 26, 2020

What does it mean for Oklahoma City’s schools to be “our schools”?

It means working together to ensure hope and opportunity for each of the 44,000 students of Oklahoma City Public Schools. It means sending a message to these students that their city has their back. It means collectively raising our hands to provide support and care for some of the most vulnerable citizens of our city.

The Purpose of All Hands Raised: Virtual
Typically, All Hands Raised is a fundraising luncheon featuring a first-hand opportunity to hear from inspirational students, remarkable educators, and district leaders. However, due to COVID-19 concerns, we streamed the event on Facebook Live! All Hands Raised: Virtual provided the opportunity to educate the community about the current work and long-term goals of the Foundation.

Now is the time to rally for our students to ensure we can still provide the powerful programs and life-changing initiatives needed to build lasting change in our schools. While we face many uncertainties, one thing remains clear: Our schools can't do it alone, and we at The Foundation for OKCPS must continue our focused work to support our kids.

Hundreds raised their hands for Oklahoma City Public School students through All Hands Raised: Virtual. Thank you to all who joined us. We appreciate your generosity during these uncertain times, as our schools need your support now more than ever.

There's still time to show your support for Oklahoma City Public Schools' students. Donors who contribute $200 or more to All Hands Raised: Virtual receive an original masterpiece from a Classen SAS student artist! Get yours before they're gone.
