Bilingualism something to be treasured, celebrated in Oklahoma City public schools

The Foundation developed and runs a program that is funding and supporting college education and teacher certification for bilingual paraprofessionals working in the district. The Bilingual Teacher Pipeline Project currently has 39 bilingual paraprofessionals on their way to becoming teachers for OKCPS.

Hudiburg Auto Group and The Foundation for Oklahoma City Public Schools today announced the “Driving Attendance” campaign, in which OKCPS high school students with perfect attendance can win a chance to drive away with a new car from Hudiburg.

More than 3,000 Oklahoma City Public Schools students identified as homeless last year. Homelessness causes children to be tardy, absent, hungry and suffering from anxiety and depression.

Coat-A-Kid drive aims to keep students warm
