Help OKCPS Students Stay Warm and Ready to Learn this Winter
No child should go without a winter coat
Last year, thousands of Oklahoma City Public Schools students benefited from your support of Coat-A-Kid — no child in need went without a warm winter coat. We hope to meet the needs of our kids again this year and we need your help!
Winter can be brutal in Oklahoma. Without the support of our generous partners, thousands of students will not have a coat to keep them warm. This is a devastating reality for many students and families across the metro. Oklahoma City Public Schools is the state’s largest school district with over 34,000 students, and 90 percent are living at or below the poverty line.
Our schools rely on the support of community partners willing to step up and step in to provide assistance. Oklahoma City Public Schools and Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation are working together to provide for our students. This year’s goal is to raise $130,000 to be certain all who need it are provided with a warm winter coat.
